Added March 4, 2026: I lost my CDs at some point in the last (almost) two decades. iTunes is now called Apple Music. Amazingly that link to Amazon Music still works. Added for good measure, a link to Spaced Out on Spotify.
On a whim today I went looking for this album Spaced Out – The Best of Leonard Nimoy & William Shatner
iTunes also has the album but not in the iTunes Plus DRM free variety. It’s also $11.99. So while I own an iPod and have bought several hundred tracks from the iTunes store in the past, I’m taking the plunge and going with Amazon on this one. Competition is good.
And Amazon has got the customer experience for iTunes users nailed. It’s not any harder than using Applie’s store and it’s cheaper. Go figure!
Sure, Amazon is great, although for me it is a pity that’s not available outside the US. So,no DRM free msic for me :(
